Made My Week
Can you believe it's almost 2013? Lately I've been feeling like time is going by so fast that the days and weeks just seem to blend together. Sometimes I can't even remember what I did yesterday, let alone last week. So I created Made My Week as a way to highlight the things that—well, made my week. It not only forces me to remember what happened during the week, it also helps me to focus on the good rather than the bad. This week I've been trying to do all the usual holiday stuff. You know, putting up the Christmas decorations and sending out holiday cards. While shopping around, I came across some nice holiday things I think you might like too. Take a look at what made my week.
I actually bought this glitter garland last year from Etsy. I liked it so much I never took it down--just moved it to a new place. I like Christmas decorations that are not holiday specific. You can enjoy them well beyond the holidays. And it's an excuse to do more decorating.
I love the homemade feel of these ballerina clothespin ornaments. It really warms up a luxe, glitzy holiday decor.
Who wouldn't love a Star Trek Uhura Holiday Christmas ornament.

Cute, right? Over the past few years, I've had to shop less and less for decorations because I've accumulated so much. They've become keepsakes that I treasure, particularly the ornaments from my kids. What about you? Maybe you've come across some really nice holiday decor of late. Feel free to share it. I'm always on the look out for something fresh and interesting. Talk to you soon.
